Our wood frame market umbrellas combine the warm and elegant look of wood with remarkable durability. Anodized aluminum accents add beauty and strength. The pole and ribs of our wood market umbrella frames are made from a durable tropical hard wood with long grain that provides both flexibility and strength to resist windy conditions. Polymer resin hubs and finial provide for years of maintenance-free use. All of our market umbrella poles (except 11') will fit any standard 1 1/2" diameter table umbrella hole and standard umbrella stand or base.

The distinct feature of the market umbrella design is the absence of hanging valances around the edges of the shade umbrella. This straight edge gives the market umbrella a sleek and elegant look. The additional crown of fabric at the top of the market umbrella is called a wind vent. This practical design allows for temporary gusts of wind to escape or vent from underneath the umbrella cover. It also adds to the unique look of a market umbrella. Many of our umbrellas have used this feature as a contrasting element by using a different fabric color for the umbrella vent. An additional vent, or double vent, may be added to further distinguish your design, as well as improve the overall venting capacity of the market umbrella during gusts of wind.
